It doesn’t require any special equipment and can be practiced anywhere, making it a versatile tool for personal growth and well-being. Let It Be- Meditation & Mindfulness for Everyday Peace-This class is designed for anyone looking to feel the peace that comes with letting go, connect with community, and explore how to live daily in a more mindful way. Mindfulness allows us to be present with the everyday moments of our lives, and be observers of our feelings and thoughts, accepting them without judgment. No experience is necessary for this class, come as you are, wherever you are. Each class will center around a theme related to mindfulness, followed by a guided meditation and then group sharing. This class will not be silent meditation or focus on a mantra. You will be guided through a journey the entire time, allowing peaceful surrender to any thoughts that do not serve you. Serene Slumber-Yoga Nidra-Yoga Nidra, often referred to as yogic sleep, is a powerful technique rooted in the ancient traditions of yoga and meditation. Despite its name, it isn't actually about sleeping but rather a state of conscious relaxation that guides practitioners into a state between wakefulness and sleep. Gentlest of loving movements followed by settling in, guided meditation, deep relaxation, inner awareness, visualization, and breath. Harmony in Motion-Qigong & Sound Healing-Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") is a holistic practice originating from ancient Chinese culture that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, and mental focus. It is a mind-body exercise and healing technique that aims to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "Qi" or "Chi." Qigong is a practice that promotes holistic health by harmonizing the body, mind, and spirit. It offers a pathway to cultivate inner peace, resilience, and vitality through mindful movement, breath awareness, and the cultivation of Qi. Qigong is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels. Combine this with sound and float away!
Serene Stretch- Yin Yoga-Yin yoga is a gentle and introspective style of yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as ligaments, joints, bones, and fascia. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga that focus on muscular engagement and movement, Yin yoga involves passive poses that are typically held for longer periods of time, ranging from 1 to 5 minutes or even longer. Poses in Yin yoga are usually performed seated or lying down. They are passive in nature, allowing gravity to deepen the stretch rather than muscular effort. Holding poses for longer durations requires practitioners to cultivate mindfulness.
